JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — Two local career and technical schools will be transitioning to remote learning, or closing, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the area.
Officials with the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center say high school students will begin remote learning next week because of school closures around the area.
Adult classes will still be in-person, as there have been no positive cases among its students.
Meanwhile, the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology, in Pleasant Gap, will be closed for in-person instruction for all all high school and adult students on Monday and Tuesday because of the increase of COVID-19 cases in Centre County.
