IRVINE, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — StubHub has inked a multi-year deal with ticketing software maker Paciolan, to integrate Paciolan's technology into StubHub's online ticketing platform for college sports events.
For Paciolan clients that opt-in to the agreement, ticket purchasers will be able to take advantage of print-at-home technology. In addition, the partnership will allow both season ticket and individual game ticket holders to list on StubHub's 'open' secondary market and have their tickets instantly sent to buyers.
Florida State University and Purdue University, two of StubHub's 17 existing NCAA secondary ticketing category partners, and two of Paciolan's existing 98 college athletics partners, will be the first programs to participate in the program. Additional schools will be coming on board in time for NCAA basketball season.
Paciolan was formerly a division of Ticketmaster before being spun-off to Comcast-Spectacor as a part of concessions related to Ticketmaster's merger with Live Nation earlier this year. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
