BIOGRAPHY
Rawson Marshall Thurber is a screenwriter, actor and film director, born on February 9, 1975, in San Francisco, California. In 1997, he graduated from the University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Production Program. From that moment on he became the assistant to screenwriter John August who was in charge of the DC television program, where he gained a lot of experience. The following years he dedicated himself to directing and creating original commercials. In 2004, he debuted as a feature film director with the comedy ‘Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story’ produced by 20th Century Fox, starring Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller. Later, he was in charge of directing ‘We’re the Millers’, starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis. In 2021, he partnered with Netflix to direct the film ‘Red Alert’ starring actors Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.
