STATE COLLEGE - At Metzger Animal Hospital in Centre County, the story of a partially paralyzed puppy has many people trying to help.

But whether the young puppy, a black Labrador retriever-Great Dane mix named Wyatt, will ever walk again remains unknown.

The dog recently was found along Pumping Station Road in Juniata County, and appears to have been hit by a car.

Doctors are reluctant to do any surgery. They don’t believe his crushed spine can be fixed.

People have been helping getting Wyatt get to physical therapy and there have been some signs of movement, including an occasional tail wag.

A YouCaring crowdfunding account has been set up for Wyatt.

More than $4,000 dollars has been raised so far.
