I used to love Mamie back in the day, but I don’t like this version of Mamie. They’ve turned her into an arrogant, smug, self-righteous, narcissist.

She was always a straight shooter. She pulled no punches but she was always kind.

Other than throwing a line to save Nate (To reunite the Winters family — Blerg) so he can help her maneuver her shares to overthrow Jill’s control at Chancellor/Winters, what does Mamie bring to the table? Noise?

“All hands on deck”? What is that supposed to mean? Mamie certainly doesn’t have a cogent plan to end Tucker’s threat to C/W. Jill, Devon and Nate (as observer) were considering their Tucker gambit when Mamie announced to anyone within earshot they should have involved her in their strategizing, basically turning the meeting into a circular bout of bickering and snipping, solving nothing.

Why is it Devon and Lily choose not to confront Mamie with her belligerent attitude and lack of business acumen? Jill doesn’t withhold her distain of Mamie’s amateur status. Is it because they need Mamie’s shares to support their own takeover plans undermining Jill, so they tolerate this new and devolved Mamie to avoid losing her financial endorsement?

I still don’t understand the entire C/W shares sale by Victor to Mamie. Victor didn’t offer Jill or Devon the opportunity to purchase the shares, yet Mamie pops up out of nowhere and negotiates the shares purchase with Tucker’s unspoken involvement? Suddenly Tucker is Mamie’s mortal enemy and she’s not playing along with their earlier plans? Was it Tucker’s money Mamie used to buy the shares from Victor? There is an assumption that Tucker’s plan with Mamie was to oust Jill and keep the Winters as his overseers. In a pig’s ear — Tucker wants full control of C/W and the Winters would be cut up as chum.

I don’t know Mamie, only hearing that she was a maid for the Abbotts, but please let Tucker stop whatever deal they had or for Jill write her a check, her snide remarks and attitude just get on my nerves and I don’t trust her pushing for Nate to be back in the company.

Just don’t see the point of bringing back Mamie when she’s not much like the caring housekeeper of the Abbott family of long ago. Pretty much unlikeable now. She can buy a one way ticket out of town for all I care.

I was so happy upon Mamie’s return a few months ago, but this isn’t the no-nonsense, warm, kind woman I once cared so much about. The Mamie of 2023 is downright unpleasant and obnoxious – a totally different character.

Her character just doesn’t ring true. I think about a housekeeper playing make-believe and talking business talk. Did she go get her self educated in business after retiring from housekeeping? How did she make that leap? And why was she ever a housekeeper if she can run a corporation? I’m just confused. I do adore the OG Mamie. Such a loving motherly safe place for the Abbots. This version I just don’t understand.

Kind and wise… who is this woman? The previous Mamie was always able to handle Jill even in the position she held because she was so classy. This woman is making me crazy.
