Not really sure why. Maybe because she never stood a chance, as the daughter of two psychos. Maybe because she feels isolated and lonely. Maybe because the people around her feels arrogant and complacent, but are still considered good? Maybe because she was screwed over by Nikolas and he kidnapped their son away from her? Or maybe it’s a combination of all?
Either way, I find myself rooting for Esme.

Same here … probably because of how ridiculously dumb they’ve made Sprina, and how nasty they made Spencer on his own.

I can’t root for her because of my Sprina love but I still hope this is far from the end for her. She’s a great character played by a very talented actress.

I’m not. She is too much like Nelle.

She is definitely a great villain so far. You feel sorry for her one minute then want someone to get hold of her the next.

What mother would be happy with her son being given away and never seeing him again
People been saying she didnot try to track down nic
HOWWWW a police force couldnot find him
His mother couldnot find him
They have greater resources that esme
What did the cops say nic is father
And they let spencer leave town knowing spencer knew by handing over the boy the mother would never see him a again
Im team esme i hope he drags spencer use spencer as bait to get nick to show himself
Im all for esme hurting spencer

Totally agree. She has had a raw deal with her upbringing. Great actress. And legs.

Even though the show seems to conveniently forget it, I will never forget Esme’s part in baby Liam’s death by inadvertently locking Sasha outside Ava’s gallery. There aren’t enough bad things that can happen to that evil spawn of Ryan and Heather. Good riddance!

Lex January 30, 2024, 8:39pm 10I couldn’t root for an attempted murder and a psychotic jealous thug. They had half the cast painting her in the positive light and she had no consequences for her actions. But we are suppose to feel for Esme.

mittie January 30, 2024, 9:08pm 13So you don’t like Sonny? Or quite a few of them actually. Esme is no innocent but neither is at least half of Port Chuck.

Me too. But in a different way. I’m tired of the character and I’m rooting that somebody will unalive her.

Lex January 30, 2024, 9:18pm 15Never did care too much about Sonny. But your point is missed with me because more than half of those ppl you have talking have had some kind of consequences for their actions. Esme has not. The actress just keeps getting prop writing

Not me. Love her character as a villain and the actress who plays her is nothing short of phenomenal and while I m sorry about her parentage and her upbringing, the girl is a wrecking ball and needs her comeuppance in a big way!

Not rooting for Esme at all.
Even IF she were to get Ace back, look at yet another trail of crimes she has committed…. What is she going to do, raise Ace on the run? And with her memory back, what kind of mother would she ultimately have been for Ace? …especially with her obsession with Spencer. I think she would have tried to take Trina and /or Spencer out even if Nicolas hadn’t taken Ace once Trina blabbed about them going to Paris. The writers missed a lot of good opportunity here to have good storylines of Esme struggling with doing the right vs the wrong thing.

pris1 January 31, 2024, 1:15am 19Esme should have been gone, and I think this time, the show will get rid of her. The vast majority of the viewing audience hates her, so it says a lot about the minority who love her!
