According to gamers, after installing the patch they cannot save the files which stored their progress in Bloodborne resulting in either a corrupt game of loss of progress. If you are getting the “Game install incomplete. Cannot load save data” Error after installing the Bloodborne Patch 2.50 on your PS4 follow these steps to get rid of the error:
Fix 1
- First of all unistall Bloodborne completely
- Insert the disc to start a new installation process
- Download and install the patch
- Now start the game
Tip: Dont start a new Bloodborne Game before downloading and installing the patch.
Fix 2
Another way to fix the error is start a new Bloodborne game and create a new character and play till you light the first bonfire. After you are done go to main menu and select load game to load your save file.
Fix 3
Some players were successful in getting rid of the error by following these steps:
- Remove the Bloodborne Disc
- Completely turn off your PS4
- Wait for a couple of seconds
- Turn it on again
- Insert disc
- Start the game
