Backus Avenue between the Danbury Fair Mall and the Shops at Marcus Dairy was blocked off and traffic was being rerouted through a parking lot on Sunday afternoon due to flooding.

- New Canaan: 1.42 inches
Occasional rain and patchy fog was expected to continue overnight with a low near freezing.
A chance of rain continues Monday, mainly before noon. Freezing rain or sleet are possible early, which could affect the morning commute.
