BIOGRAPHY
Gavin Casalegno began acting at the age of seven when he was chosen to star in a Papa John’s commercial. The following years he was part of several projects, but his first major work was under the direction of Darren Aronofsky in Noah (2014), where he shared credits with Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins and Jennifer Connelly. On television, he stood out playing a young version of Damon Salvatore in the series The Vampire Diaries (2015), as well as in numerous commercials and print campaigns for national retailers/magazines. Aside from his career, Casalegno continued to train and study with several acting coaches and casting directors. Casalegno plays Jeremiah, one of the love interests of the protagonist of The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022), Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming coming-of-age romantic drama television series based on the novel of the same name by Jenny They have.
