NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — After just three years at in the top spot Deezer North America CEO Tyler Goldman is exiting the firm to lead e-cigarette/marijuana vaping company Pax Labs as CEO.
Tyler came to Deezer in 2013 after serving as CEO of Buzz Media as the company was announcing a major expansion with partnerships with LG, Samsung, and Toshiba that saw Deezer apps made available on smart TV platforms, along with a new brand identity.
"Tyler Goldman left Deezer to pursue a new challenge and we wish him much success in the next chapter of his career," Deezer said in a statement provided to several publications. "We continue to have a strong team in place in the U.S. and look forward to continuing to grow our presence here with the most personalized music discovery platform. New leadership changes will be announced shortly."
Goldman's exit comes as Deezer's monthly paid subscriber numbers continue to slide, falling from 5 million in 2013 to about 3 million in the most recently published figures. – Staff Writers
