Caoilinn Springall is a young actress whose film debut happened with Midnight Sky , a Netflix original film directed by actor George Clooney. In the film, the actress plays Iris, the little girl who accompanies Clooney’s character on his journey. Her performance was one of the most applauded by critics and the public, and she was nominated for her first Critic’s Choice Award in the category of Best Young Actress or Actor in 2021. Regarding her choice to join the cast of the film, in In an interview with Gold Derby, Clooney said he auditioned hundreds of young actresses for the role, and that Caoilinn was the last to audition. Likewise, he confessed that he decided that she was chosen for her character when he did an improvised scene with her, in which the actress had to appear truly scared. Caoilinn does not yet have another film project in the pipeline.
