Crews responded to the two-alarm blaze on the 100 block of Pearlwood Ct. in Parkville at 2:40 a.m. and found heavy flames coming from both floors.

No injuries were reported as crews doused the blaze, which displaced five adults and two children.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
